Jamie Oliver has been reduced to tears by a tough audience.

Huntington, West Virginia is not only the USA's fattest city, it's also the most resistant to change, or so Jamie Oliver has found out.

According to the DailyMail.co.uk, the Naked Chef was reduced to tears following an intense yet failed attempt at giving Huntington some culinary hope.

The chef's newest series, entitled Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution sets out to educate people on how to eat healthily without losing out on any taste. The series follows from his previous success with British TV series Jamie's School Dinners

According the report, residents showed outright disinterest in his suggestions. A radio presenter voiced the general feeling by saying: "We don't want to sit around and eat lettuce all day... I don't think Jamie has anything that can change this town. He can try all he wants."

According to sources close to Jamie, this is the lowest they've ever seen him. Voicing his own fears, Jamie allegedly said, "They don't understand me. They don't know why I'm here."
