document.write("Whilst we all know that when it comes to spoiling yourself there is very little that can beat the best bubbles that the French have to offer, and having had the pleasure of tasting the Pol Roger, I can most definately vouch for its virtues!  However, with the rand not quite stretching as far as it used to these days, might I suggest a local product also available from Mike's terrific store - the Villiera Monro brut (I believe its the 2003 available at the moment) consistently offers the drinker as good as French for a fraction of the cost.  At last count I'm sure I paid just over R100 for a bottle and have never been disspaointed!<br />So if the French price is a little too much to swallow, why not go local?  . Antonia Labia");
