document.write("I recently tried to book The  Grand for a birthday function, after confirming all the details with the staff, I was incredibly annoyed to receive a phone call the following day to tell me that unfortunately management had decided that they \"no longer host functions\" and that they could not accommodate me. <br /><br />This seems very suspect to me - what bar wouldn't want a guaranteed income from 50 guests? Perhaps they were just chasing someone with a bigger wallet.<br /><br />The incident left a bad taste in my mouth - they won't be on my list of place to go this summer.... JK");
